About the National Automobile
Built from the world-famous collection of Bill Harrah (founder of Harrah's Hotels and Casinos), the National Automobile Museum in Reno takes visitors on an interactive history of the automobiles. Enjoyed by the team at Charles P. Virden, MD and their families, the museum has more than 200 vehicles from vintage, classic, special interest, rare, one-of-a-kind models, race cars, and more. Starting in a faithful re-creation of an early 20th century street, the National Automobile Museum takes guests through a timeline of the innovations in cars. Along with the extensive Harrah Collection of automobiles, the National Automobile Museum features different exhibits including Celebrity Autos, Tool and Tales by Henry Ford, and many automobile-related art and collectibles.
