Aleah is our physician assistant with our Aestheticare team and works with Dr. Charles Virden in our Skin Clinic. This clinic is a rapidly accessible, high-quality, cash-pay Skin Clinic designed to address common concerns such as acne, acne scarring, benign lesion removal, simple skin cancer treatment, mole removal, and general skin care. Aleah first began working for Dr. Virden as a physician assistant at STAT Wound Care Service. In this capacity, Aleah would go out into the community to treat patients at various facilities with non-healing wounds using a multitude of modalities including hyperbaric therapy, specialized wound dressings, and more. She also specializes in hormone replacement, which allows patients to optimize their hormones through customized bioidentical hormone therapy. Aleah is also a practitioner of aesthetic injectable techniques. Using a variety of products, Aleah can help patients achieve their goals of a rejuvenated youthful appearance that is subtle and beautiful. She has extensive experience with aesthetic laser treatments for various skin concerns and the noninvasive fat reduction treatment, CoolSculpting. Aleah is a life-long Nevada resident, who graduated with honors from the University of Nevada, Reno, with a Bachelor of Science degree in neuroscience. She gained valuable experience working as an emergency medical assistant and scribe at the Saint Mary’s Emergency Department, and then as a medical assistant for Sierra Nevada Nephrology. Then, Aleah continued her education at Stanford University School of Medicine where she graduated top of her class and received her physician assistant license and a master's degree in medical science. Next time you are in our office, make sure to say hello to Aleah. She will always greet you with a warm, welcoming smile.
